KARTIK IS BRILLIANT AT WINNING GAMES. JUST NOT ON THE PLAYGROUND. After a viral video turns him into the laughing stock of his school, Kartik makes a challenge he instantly regrets – taking on the school’s cricket champion. The problem? Kartik doesn’t know how to play cricket. With only a few weeks to learn a game he’s spent his whole life avoiding, Kartik turns to the one thing he does understand – gaming, technology and strategy. Armed with data and determination, he sets out to prove that heroes aren’t born on the playground. They’re built. Meanwhile, his younger sister Naaya asks why girls should be cheerleaders when they can be cricketers. Determined to step onto the pitch instead of the sidelines, she’s ready to rewrite the rules of the game. Packed with humour, heart, cricket, coding, friendship and unforgettable adventures, Eklavya: The Cricket Story is for every kid who has ever felt like they didn’t belong.
